Book three of the Milestone Method is the third of three milestones preparing your students for note reading. It is a highly effective piano method for teaching note reading to students with special needs and learning differences such as autism, Down syndrome, Williams syndrome, ADHD, and dyslexia. It is also an effective introduction to sight reading for neurotypical students.
This book introduces notes on the staff in C position for the treble clef (RH) and the bass clef (LH). Songs are written in a clear, easy-to-read format. The pages are designed to be as sensory-friendly as possible for students with special needs, containing minimal graphics and clear, sans-serif text.
After this book, students will be prepared for a position-based method series, such as Alfred’s Basic Piano Library.
